M’allams

Today we open our studios and invite the people of Fez and Sefrou to share the fruits of our time here in Morocco. Over the past month many M’allems (Masters) have opened their studios and workshops to us. They have welcomed us and shared their time, stories and knowledge with humour, generosity, warmth and lots of mint tea. They have given us an opportunity to dive into the world of the Artisan from the inside. Over one short month we have gone from being strangers to becoming friends. They have taught us many skills but more than that they have left their mark on us as people,  a mark we cherish and take that with us when we leave next week.
